Lesson
Short text is not automatically concise evidence.
The first pilot confused generic brevity and missing context with semantic compression. A corrected prompt and human review separated:
- Complete compressed meaning from short fragments.
- Recoverable reader inference from unavailable context.
- Unnecessary elaboration from detail required by the format or audience.
Result
Human review retained sixteen supporting candidates, three contradictory candidates, and two provisional contradictory candidates.
The strongest evidence compresses causal relationships, cultural connections, judgments, jokes, and micro-narratives. Supporting examples recur from 2009 through 2020.
EVID-002 and VAL-002 were revised to Version 2. The validation remains provisionally supported, with medium confidence inside the Facebook scope and low confidence for frequency, recent continuity, and other writing formats.
