Abbey Easy Wins

Summary

The abbey ai decide easy-win command recommended adding live-site verification to abbey site publish. The implementation now checks BradCooke.com after a successful production push, follows redirects, requires a final HTTP 2xx response, and retries while GitHub Pages deploys.

During session capture, abbey journal --help created an accidental journal entry named --help and opened it in vi. That exposed an existing backlog item, so the same session corrected journal argument handling and added support for --title.

Accomplishments

Lessons Learned

The AI recommendation chose useful work but invented the implementation architecture. Repository review remained necessary before coding.

Using the actual Abbey workflow also surfaced a second small defect naturally. What began as one easy win turned into two without becoming a giant side quest, which is suspiciously responsible behavior for Abbey Root.
