Session Context CLI Architecture Summary

Summary

abbey session context now explains how the shared Abbey toolkit relates to the active project and includes a generated summary of the visible registered commands.

The command list comes from the existing config/cli/cli.yml metadata rather than a separate manually maintained inventory.

Accomplishments

• Added an Abbey CLI architecture section to generated session context.
• Reported the toolkit root and active project root separately.
• Identified the dispatcher, command metadata, implementation directory, and generated CLI reference.
• Added command and subcommand summaries grouped by category.
• Excluded hidden commands and subcommands.
• Validated the feature in Abbey Root and initialized external projects.
• Added focused and portability regression coverage.

Lessons Learned

• The existing CLI metadata can support help, reference documentation, and AI session context from one source of truth.
• External-project tests are essential when toolkit and project roots differ.
• The failure-tolerant context wrapper preserved usable output when an intermediate renderer defect occurred.

Next Steps

• Evaluate the generated summary through normal AI-assisted sessions.
• Refine its size or detail only when practical use demonstrates a need.
